Children of Shanti Sanctuary

Founded in 2015 by Rosangela Coelho, the Filhos de Shanti Sanctuary, located in Pindamonhangaba, São Paulo, Brazil, currently shelters more than 120 lives, mainly horses, but also other species such as cattle and goats. We rescue animals from the most diverse situations of exploitation and mistreatment and the costs of food, special care and veterinary care are extremely high. We need the financial support of those who love animals and can contribute the amount they can, on a one-off or monthly basis.

We are a civil society organization committed to a fairer and more sustainable future for the Brazilian Northeast. We were born in the north of Piauí, but today we operate in Ceará and Maranhão. Our founder, Camilla Marinho, started the Caburé Institute because she believes that ancestral knowledge, combined with science and technology, can positively transform the lives of people in traditional communities.
