The Amazon Reforestation Alliance - ARA - aims to recover degraded areas in the Amazon territory and create, in addition to a positive environmental impact, increase food security and a sense of belonging to the projects partner communities. For this, we develop this network that acts through reforestation, supporting and encouraging the culture of the peoples whose lives in the forest. We will work directly with traditional indigenous, ribeirinhos and extractivist communities, promoting a model of life based on the restoration of the local landscape, which is sustained over generations and is strengthened in the living and healthy forest. Our initiative allows the maintenance of the full and abundant biodiversity of the largest tropical jungle on the planet, which, together with the generation of fresh water, are the true wealth of the Amazon. In addition, the collection of seeds from hardwood trees in native matrices, some of them in extinction, favors the genetic heritage of the
